One thing for sure. We recognize there are a TON of social cornhole players who just want to have fun playing in a friendly competition. That is why our Pro Tour events also feature social cornhole tournaments. So bring everyone to the event and have some fun.

What is the ACO World Championships of Cornhole XI?

It is the premiere cornhole world championship event at the end of each ACO Season, featuring multiple championship title tournaments and an atmosphere of fun, friends and competition

When and where is the event?

It is July  2016 – Site to be announced by early November 2015. 

What is the ACO Corporate Hotel for the Worlds XI event in Knoxville?

What are featured titles and the prizes for each division at the ACO World Championships of Cornhole XI?

• World Singles (Crowns the single best player in the World – if male “King of Cornhole” or female “Queen of Cornhole”) – Pro Division – King or Queen Ring, Champion Jersey, Trophy and Money Payouts

• World Doubles Championship (Best Doubles team in the World) – Champion Jerseys, Trophies and Money Payouts

• World Seniors Championship (Best player male or female over 55 or over, a singles competition) Champion Jersey, Trophy and Money Payouts

• World Women’s Championship (Best female player in the World, a singles competition) Champion Jersey, Trophy and Money Payouts

What are the GUARANTEED money payouts at the ACO World Championships as of September 2015?

• World Singles Championship – $TBA First Place
• World Doubles Championship – $TBAFirst Place
• WorldSeniors Championship – based on participation

• Farfsing World Cup – 100% of $200 side pot buy in
• World Slyder Cup – $TBA Purse

NOTE: The ACO is working on coming up with additional prize money that will allow deeper payouts. This prize money will need to come from additional prize sponsorship revenue. There will be no guarantee but it is highly likely more prize money will be awarded to the top finishers. What the final money purse and exact payouts will be will not be announced until June 30, 2016.

I’m an ACO Member. What tournament(s) can I play in at the ACO World Championships of Cornhole?

Any player having competed in four (4) different points earning tournaments within the World Singles and World Doubles division is eligible to purchase a Golden Ticket(limited supply of tickets, based on first come first serve). The Golden Ticket makes a player eligible for both the RPI World Singles and RPI World Doubles tournaments.

What is the Golden Ticket?

A Golden Ticket is a ACO Cornhole Players entry into all Singles and Doubles activity at main events:

• World Singles – entry to all eligible tournaments – RPI, World Singles Championships,T2, T3, T4 Divisions.

• World Doubles – (1/2) of a Doubles entry to all eligible tourneys – RPI, World Singles Championships, T2, T3, T4 Divisions.

• A Golden Ticket is only able to be purchased by qualified players, a player is only able to purchase one Golden Ticket. Only those players having competed in four (4) different points earning tournaments within the World Singles or World Doubles division are eligible to purchase a Golden Ticket (the Golden Ticket has a limited supply, availability is based on first come first serve).

What is the cost of a Golden Ticket?

Golden Tickets will be available for purchase at the conclusion of ACO Season X. Players will earn a lower ticket price based on their Regional participation.

Scale:
• CornyForty= Free Golden Ticket
• TopGun Twenty = Free Golden Ticket (each member of the team)
• Participate in 8 Points Earning Tournaments = $50.00
• Participate in 7 Points Earning Tournaments = $70.00
• Participate in 6 Points Earning Tournaments = $90.00
• Participate in 5 Points Earning Tournaments = $110.00

MINIMUM ENTRY POINT: Participate in 4 Points Earning Tournaments = $250.0

Is there a cap on player participation for Worlds XI? haven’t played in ACO tournaments this season or not enough to qualify for the Golden Ticket. Can I still play at the Worlds?

Most definitely. The ACO World Championships will have plenty of space for spectators and the average player to come and be part of daily game challenges and luck of the draw activities. However, there will be a cap of 808 total players eligible for Golden Tickets. There will be approximately 768 tickets available for purchase after the CornyForty and TopGun 20 players are awarded their tickets. All remaining players ranked in the top 808 will be eligible to purchase  their tickets between June 1st and June 15th, 2016. If space remains, all other eligible players will be able to purchase their Golden Tickets from Jun 16th – June 30th, 2016. It will be first come first serve.

I haven’t played in ACO tournaments this season or not enough to qualify for the Golden Ticket. Can I still play at the Worlds?

Most definitely. The ACO World Championships will have plenty of daily activity going on from luck of the draws to game challenges for players to have a good time. All players are also eligible to compete in the ACO World Slyder Cup tournament which will have a Social and Competitive Division.

What is the ACO World Slyder Cup?

A team competition, a team consists of (5) cornhole players. Each team will have a designated team captain. A team can be comprised of only (2) recognized pros

What is the cost of a World Slyder Cup entry?

SlyderCup Team Entry = $TBD

Slyder Cup Team Qualifier Entry = $295.00 (this includes marketing your event through ACO) Call 888-563-2002 and ask about how to promote your Cornhole Tournament as an ACO World Slyder Cup Qualifier.

How do I compete in the ACO World Singles Championships?

There are only two ways to compete in the final field of 128 at the ACO World Singles Championships for the chance to be crowned King of Cornhole or Queen of Cornhole.

• Qualify through the CornyForty (these are the top 40 players in the ACO World Singles Rankings at the end of the points earning Season).

• Qualify by finishing in the top eighty eight (88) in the RPI World Singles Tournament held on Thursday July 2016 at the World Championships.

How do I get into the CornyForty?

The CornyForty is the name given to theTop 40 players in the ACO World Singles Rankings. Players are able to earn World Ranking Points (WRPs) throughout the season playing in Majors andRegionals.

How do I become eligible to compete in the RPI Tournament?

The RPI (Singles) is an invitational tournament held Thursday July 9, 2015 at the Worlds for any player having competed in four (4) different points earning tournaments within the World Singles or World Doubles division within Season XI and lucky enough to have purchased one of the limited Golden Tickets. (This includes a combination of both Regional and Major events.

Important Notice: Players must still purchase a Golden Ticket before they can compete. There is a limited number of tickets available, based on first come first serve.

How do I compete in the ACO World Doubles Championships?

There are only two ways to compete in the final field of 64 at the ACO World Doubles Championships for the chance to be crowned ACO World Doubles Champion.

• Qualify through the TopGun Twenty (these are the top 20 teams in the ACO World Doubles Rankings at the end of the points earning Season).

• Qualify by finishing in the top forty four (44) in the RPI World Doubles Tournament held on Thursday July 2016 at the World Championships.

How do I get into the TopGun Twenty?

The TopGun Twenty is the name given to theTop 20 teams in the ACO World Doubles Rankings. Teams are able to earn World Ranking Points (WRPs) throughout the season playing in Majors and Regionals.

How do I become eligible to compete in the RPI Tournament?

The RPI (Doubles) is an invitational tournament held Thursday July 2016 at the Worlds for any player having competed in five (5) different points earning tournaments different points earning tournaments within the World Singles or World Doubles division within Season XI. This includes a combination of both Regional and Major events.

Important Notice: Players must still purchase a Golden Ticket before they can compete. There is a limited number oftickets available, based on first come first serve.

How are teams and players seeded at the ACO World Championships of Cornhole?

We will use the World Singles Rankings to seed our singles players and our World Doubles Rankings to seed our doubles teams in tournament competition.

What is the Farfsing World Cup?

The Farfsing World Cup is a competition where crews of four players earn points based on their performance in the World Singles and World Doubles Championship brackets.

Each tournament place is assigned point values form lowest to highest. For example, 1stPlace = 1pt; 64th Place = 64pts.

The crew with the lowest overall point total is the winner of the World Farfsing Cup.

Entry Fee

The Farfsing Cup is free for any 4 players who would like to submit a crew

There will be a $200 side-pot for those who wish to buy-in

Side-pot will be 100% payout
• First pays 50% of pot
• Second pays 25%
• Third pays 15%
• Fourth pays 10%

Registration

When arriving at the ACO World Championships, visit the registration desk to fill out a crew sheet

Side-pot will be collected at that time

Crews MUST turn in their crew sheets before the start of the RPI Singles

Prizes

All members of the winning crew will receive a customized Farfsing Crew Cup Champion jersey

Is there a prize purse for the Farfsing World Cup winners?

Yes. There will be a 100% payout side pot of the $200.00 entry per crew of four players ($50 per man).  Teams must buy and register their team on Wednesday July 2016

• Fourth pays 10%

What is the Tailgate Tradeshow?

The Tailgate Tradeshow is an event that has been added to enhance the overall experience of the players and fans of the ACO World Championships of Cornhole. It has been added to allow businesses the opportunity to sell and promote their products during the four day event.

What is the investment for a 10’ x 10’ booth at the Tailgate Tradeshow?

$295.00 (plus $95.00 if electricity isrequired)

Limited to a maximum of 20 booths, first come basis.

What is included in the $295.00 investment?

• 10’ x10’ booth space
• One(1) 6’ skirted table
• Two Chairs
• Four(4) days of business exposure
• ½ page ad in Worlds X program

Note: Electricity is an additional charge of $95 for four (4) days

Is there an opportunity to run a qualifier?

Yes. Any group can purchase a $295.00 Slyder Cup Team Qualifier.

What is the Court Sponsorship?

The Court Sponsorship is one of the more unique opportunities and possibly the best bang for your sponsorship dollar. The investment is $1,500.00. There are 80 available court sponsorships. They will be sold on a first come basis and a customer can purchase as many court sponsorships as are still available.
